I made a trip to Japan from 14-19 October 2022, to catch up with friends in the entertainment line.
It has been more than 10 years since a visit. Previously it was all about work. But this time, I planned to meet up with Hideaki Takahashi (bottom right), who works with music in VR, and whom I’ve known for almost 2 decades, Sharon (top left) a new friend, Hisayoshi (bottom right) who’s a supporter of my work and friend of many years now. And the dynamic duo; Chris and Lie Currell. Chris worked Synclavier magic for Michael Jackson’s album, BAD, and trio of tours BAD, Dangerous and HIStory. Lie has translated for multiple rockstars and politicians. The cities I visited included Tokyo, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Asakusa, Ginza and Mishima.
